Introduction
Our management team strongly believes that it is a good challenge for our institution to promote and to participate in the organisation of European mobility projects. We think that an organised mobility experience as a part of our curriculum is a valuable opportunity to help developing the competences of the students.
The possibility of sharing experiences with people from other countries is also a source of motivation for both teachers and students, having a positive effect on the school.
If you are interested in participating in a project with us, please let us know by sending an email to erasmus@illaderodes.cat. We would be pleased to give you some more details and the course curriculum if needed.
Our Purpose
Our school has established a basic educational strategy, expressed in the educational project document. This document states that our school promotes the feeling of belonging to a united, supportive and open to the world Europe, through the participation in European programs. The latter give the students the opportunity of personal experiences in other European countries and develop their sense of European identity and promote their ability to adapt and accept the economic and social changes taking place in Europe.
Our Goals
We have a strategic goal, which is promoting mobility in the vocational and higher education courses and in the secondary school. As a result of this:
1. We are looking for partners to work collaboratively.
2. We have applied for a K122SCH action and we are waiting for the results. We are very positive about it!
3. We can be found in eTwinning: http://www.etwinning.net/ .
Our Mobility activities
Our mobility activities are aimed at:
1. Further expanding and maintaining international (strategic) collaborations with educational institutions, and with relevant companies and governmental organisations.
2. Expanding the introduction of English and French courses at all our educational levels. Our ambition is that every course should offer English or bilingual English/Catalan activities.
3. Increasing the mobility of outgoing students and staff.
4. Starting the mobility of incoming students and staff.
5. Improving the provision of information to possible incoming international students regarding our courses.
6. Setting up an integration framework between International and Catalan students.
