The focus in Germany will be on diversity. We want to make the students aware that fake news play a serious role in a student's everyday life, and that some of it is produced by the students themselves. To counteract this, students should be encouraged and empowered to recognize, question and act appropriately to build tolerance.
The topics of immigration are to be covered through personal exchange with a refugee class and religion, including a visit to a gallery.
Referring to the media, we will visit a radio and we will create podcasts about what we will be learning during the visits, the activities, including interviews...
Day 1 activities
Welcome and guided tour through the school "Anton-Heilingbrunner-Schule Staatliche Realschule Wasserburg".
Ice breaking activities.

Rally through Wasserburg in small teams to start to know each other.

Day 3 activities
Trip to Rosenheim
Guided tour of the City Gallery about activism and tolerance through illustrations.
Visit to the local radio station, where they explained to us everything about hosting a radio program.
Visit to the organization "Vielgestalter" working on the field of diversity. Students prepared some questions and recorded an interview to the manager of the association. We learnt about their social work in Rosenheim.

Working on the project: creating a podcast: recording and editing audio files.
Dinner with families, students and teachers.
