From CEE Jeroni de Moragas, we are contacting you as representatives of the Internationalization expertise area of the General Sub-Directorate of the Generalitat de Catalunya Education Inspectorate.
According to the aims of Decree 12/2021, it is the responsibility of the Education Inspectorate to contribute to the continuous improvement of the general quality of the system and the provision of educational services, the exercise of teaching and management functions and guarantee compliance regulations and the exercise of the rights and duties of the members of the educational community. Within the framework of the 2021-2025 Education Inspectorate Master Plan, focused work, reflection, and training areas of expertise are aimed, at providing knowledge in educational and pedagogical trends and research, and also collecting experiences and successful practices to add value and quality to the intervention of the Inspection in its actions.
During the 2023-2024 academic years, a working group was set up to explore the possibility of starting a program to internationalize the actions of the Inspectorate through participation in an Erasmus+ Project. We are looking for working on actions that:
Have an impact on most classrooms in the educational system,
Bring added value to the Inspection's performance,
The final products guide the actions of the Inspectorate towards improving the system and the inclusivity of students.
As an Erasmus+ team from a special education school in Barcelona, we are looking for an Erasmus+ partner for a job shadowing opportunity centered on diversity care, the organization of spaces and human resources, and the creation of materials and activity design. Our school is committed to continuous improvement in these areas, and we are eager to learn from and collaborate with institutions that share similar characteristics.
Our school is defined by the following aspects:
We provide compulsory general education.
We welcome students aged 3 to 21.
Our pedagogical approach is based on attention to diversity, aiming to respond to the educational needs of all students.
To carry out this project, we have set the following objectives for our professional observation:
To observe how other schools organize and adapt learning spaces (classrooms, playgrounds, multisensory areas, psychomotor spaces, and rooms for expression or relaxation).
To explore how human resources and timetables are optimized.
To analyze how attention to diversity is planned and implemented, with particular focus on grouping criteria, behavior management, inclusive methodologies, and student self-regulation.
To learn about other didactic and technological materials for designing accessible and personalized activities, in line with the principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL).
We are currently seeking a partner with the following profile:
A special education school or institution with experience in diversity support and in successful integration programs.
Located in an EU country with a diverse student population.
Willing to host three members of our staff for a one-week job shadowing experience.
Available to host the visit during the 2025–2026 academic year, preferably in January or February.
