💪💪These are today's challenges. We are sure you can complete them standing on your head!!! 💕
To learn about the importance of symbols and languages when we want to share and expand our identities, in groups we will create an eDictionary with 4 sections:
Pocket Expressions
Erasmus Misunderstandings
Local Highlights
International Contest
Today you will start with sections 1 and 2. Tomorrow you will do 3 and 4. And on Friday number 5.
The final goal of this activity is to answer this question:
FOR PEOPLE FROM DIFFERENT CULTURES WHO WANT TO COMMUNICATE AND HAVE LANGUAGE LIMITATIONS, WHAT WOULD BE YOUR VERY FIRST RECOMMENDATION?
Build 3 concept maps with 3 words and 5 useful expressions for a student taking part in an Ersamus project. Think of what you sometimes really need to say and doesn't come to mind.
All words and expressions have to be translated from English to your languages.
Each concept map will talk about a different context: AT HOME, AT SCHOOL, IN TOWN, which will be the starting point of your map.
You can also put cool expressions you have learned during this week (audios and videos from the trips to Igualada or Barcelona).
Here you have an example of a concept map:
The final goal of this activity is to answer this question:
WHAT OTHER ASPECTS OF COMMUNICATION CAN MAKE LANGUAGE MORE EFFECTIVE?
Think of 2 situations of misunderstandings you have already experienced this two Erasmus days.
Design a comic strip for each situation to depict the role of our communication skills to lead or mislead our social relationships.
Use one of the following digital resources to llustrate each situation with 5 sequences.
Embed the 2 comic strips on the corresponding section of your eDictionary.
