Math

Welcome to Math in room 1300! Students will continue to build their math proficiency and acquire new skills. Students will continue their work on becoming fluent at adding, subtracting, multiplying, and divinding. Students will further their understanding of fractions, decimals, and measurement. Students will be able to transfer their understanding to real world problems to further their understanding. 

Math Homework Policy: I place a value on studnets understanding a concept before adding a new concept, for this reason I space my lessons to better fit the needs of the students in my room. Students will be given homework 2-3 times a week, with time in class to work on their assignments. Students are encouraged to use their Hawk Time to further their understanding and clarify questions. Students have opportunity on all homework and tests to redo their work for up to 80%.
