Tuesdays: McDonald St.

Full Band 8:30-9:00 am, lessons throughout day (times given week 3)

Thursdays: Marquette St.

Full Band 2:25-2;55 am, lessons throughout day (times given week 3)

lessons are 25 minutes long once a week. Due to the large number of band students, lessons are in small group format of like instruments-usually 3 to a group.

Times are coordinated with the classroom teacher to keep an academic flow.

Spring Band Concert!

Dear Band Parents:

The Xavier Elementary Schools Spring Band Concert is Monday, May 11, 2026 in The Xavier Middle School Auditorium starting at 6:00 p.m. The students have made great progress and I am excited for this performance!

Students should report to the Xavier Middle School band room at 5:30 p.m. for assembly and tuning; Parents may sit in the auditorium right away. We will play at the start of the concert and then the Grade 5 band will join us. After playing, grade 4 students will put instruments away in the band room and have the option of either sitting with parents for the grade 6-8 concert which begins at 6:30,  or leaving with parents. No child may stay for the grade 6-8 concert unless sitting with a parent.

Concert dress is nice “church” type clothing. (no specific colors)

A separate field trip form for a school day group practice at the middle school will be sent home separately.  

The students and I are excited to share our music with you!
