This day trip is open to 6-8th graders in our choir program, and their families. The trip is set at the end of April and is a favorite highlight for many students of the school year. Students are put in chaperoned groups of 4-6 with an adult leading each group. Students have two fundraising opportunities for their trip during the school year; one during the first semester and the other during the second. Chaperones are adults who are 22 and older and must be a close relative of the student's family. Students depart from school on the bus provided to us and spend the entire rest of their day at Six Flags in Arlington in their groups arriving back to campus in the late evening.
This prestigious trip is open to upcoming 7-8th graders in our theatre and choir programs and their families by invitation only. As this is a trip through the High School Theatre department, the junior highs are only available to invite a select few to participate. The location of this trip changes every year to allow students to learn and experience from a variety of different cultures, societies, and musical theatre professionals from around the world. This is an extremely beneficial experience for any budding performer. Students will tour historical landmarks related to music, theatre, and history, partake in multiple professional workshops developing their performing and networking abilities.
Financial aid, and scholarships are available for all participating students.
