The Children's Internet Protection Act (CIPA) was enacted by Congress in 2000 to address concerns about children's access to obscene or harmful content over the Internet.
The district uses two filter to ensure students aren't subjected to harmful content on the internet. Students are protected by a filter on our network when connected at school. Students are also protected when using their school issued chromebooks with Securly. A more complete explanation of the filtering is provided in the Chromebook bootcamp.
