Overview - 2021-22 (Original)

The Food Service Fund (50) accounts for all revenues and expenses related to pupil food service programs (e.g. National School Lunch Program).

Fund 50 is self-sustaining and does not rely on a transfer from the General Fund.

For school year 2021-22, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) extended provisions providing for free breakfast and lunch for all students.
