Food Service Fund

REVISED BUDGET (OCTOBER)

Overview

The Food Service Fund (50) accounts for all revenues and expenses related to pupil food service programs (e.g. National School Lunch Program).

Fund 50 is self-sustaining and does not rely on a transfer from the General Fund.

For school year 2020-21, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) extended provisions providing for free breakfast and lunch for all students.
