Issue

The issue I have chosen to focus on is gender equality, more importantly older women's gender equality. I chose to focus on this because gender equality means a lot to me since it affects my life. Women should be able to have the same rights as everyone else no matter what.  I chose to focus especially on older women's equality since they can often be overlooked and are just as important as men. I want to be able to see the views of older women and be able to work with them. I also want to learn about their experiences and ideas, and see how it affects the community around me. It's important to know what's going on in your community especially about an issue I care about.
