What Is Our Objective ?
What Is Our Objective ?
The goal of this project is to provide a sustainable way to grow fresh, nutritious food for the school community by using plant towers. These towers will not only contribute to the school’s nutrition but also serve as an educational tool to teach students about sustainable agriculture and healthy eating.
We will collaborate with a class (or classes) to help set up and maintain the plant towers. Students will be actively involved in planting, caring for, and harvesting the plants. This collaboration will allow for more hands-on learning and community involvement.
We’ll start by setting up several plant towers at a designated spot on the school grounds, most likely by the field or near the gym where there’s good access to sunlight. The towers will be used to grow a variety of vegetables and herbs, which will be used to support the school’s nutrition program.
Students will plant and maintain the plants throughout the growing seasons. They will also track the progress of the plants and learn about the different stages of growth. This will involve watering, pruning, and ensuring the plants are healthy and thriving.
The plants grown in the towers will be used in the school’s meals. By growing food locally, we can supplement the nutrition program with fresh produce, reducing reliance on outside sources and improving the quality of food provided to students.

We will need approval from Mr. A or the relevant school authorities to set up the towers and ensure that the project complies with school policies.
One of the biggest challenges will be finding the necessary funds to purchase the plant towers and other supplies. We will need to raise money or secure donations to cover these costs.
Maintaining the plant towers will require ongoing effort from students, especially during school breaks or weekends. Balancing this with other responsibilities might be challenging.
