There are 17 global Sustainable Development Goals according to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which was approved by all UN members in 2015.
In addition to combating climate change and attempting to protect forests and oceans, they were founded with the goal of "peace and prosperity for people and the planet".
Here are some other key goals that relate to our SDGs !
1. Climate Action ( SDG 13 ):
Addressing climate change and its effects on the U.S. ( e.g., wildfires, hurricanes, and floods ).
Transitioning to renewable energy sources.
Promoting sustainable agriculture and green urban planning.
2. Sustainable Cities and Communities (SDG 11):
Urban planning that prioritizes sustainability and livability.
Affordable housing and homelessness issues in major cities.
Public transportation systems and how they can be made more sustainable.
