In Discovery Lab, students will embark on an exciting hands-on journey where science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM) come together through creative projects. This course encourages critical thinking and problem-solving as students work in teams to explore real-world challenges, design solutions, and bring their ideas to life. From building bridges, to exploring parachutes and engineering windmills, learners will discover, create, and explore the world of STEAM in the most fun and interactive way!
Due to the nature of this course and all it has to offer, we are running it in a double period 2 hour session.

Do you want that extra edge when you play your favorite sport? Do you enjoy fitness and a healthy lifestyle? This class is geared towards all students who are looking to become more fit and athletic. The course goal is focused on personal development and improvement, not on competition between students. Drills will be fun, safe, and age appropriate as they focus on form and function. Data will be collected and each participant will get a full report on their progress. In addition, the students will also have fun as they engage in team games to practice their skills.
Students will examine various artists and art periods throughout time and learn how art has reflected as well as influenced past and present cultures. Students will create their own artwork, sometimes referencing the styles of famous artists and other times producing artwork that reflects their own personal aesthetics. Some examples of the art lessons include painting, creating mosaics, and developing 3D sculptures.
In this course, students will practice addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division facts through engaging games and activities. With these hands-on activities, students will grow an understanding of each operation and strive for mastery!
Get ready for a summer of fun, learning, and friendly competition in Game On! Exploring the World of Games! This exciting enrichment course invites fourth and fifth-grade students to sharpen their strategic thinking and problem solving skills as they dive into the world of games from all angles. Over the course of the summer, students will engage in cooperative and competitive play as they explore a variety of game types, from classic board games, puzzles, and card games to modern video games, interactive outdoor activities, and traditional party games. Get ready to roll the dice, shuffle the cards, and level up this summer with Game On!
In this class, students will learn how to sing, dance and act like a Broadway “triple-threat!” Vocal exercises, basic dance moves and acting games will be introduced to help students explore their characters, gain confidence and enhance their theater skills. The session will culminate in an informal performance to showcase what they’ve learned!
Welcome to the world of fantasy and wizardry! Students will engage with Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, create their own personal wands, put together magic spell books, and a Hogwart's Daily Prophet newsletter. In addition, we will conduct a Harry Potter Egg Drop, an Aragog Spider Web, a Balloon Astronomy Tower, and a Gringotts Marble Run and more. Experience the power of magic!
Do you aspire to be an entrepreneur or business leader? If so, this course is for you! Just like the television show, our students will be provided with the opportunity to design a logo, create a slogan, and develop an advertising pitch to present their product to a panel of judges. In the process students will learn the basics of advertising through research and reviewing successful products that are of interest to them, while also learning what makes a product sell.
