This course will emphasize creativity through experimentation while students expand their artmaking skills. Students will create 2D and 3D project-based activities using a variety of mediums and techniques including paper sculptures, collage, watercolors, modeling clay, and more. Students will be encouraged to use art as a means of communication and self expression as they develop their own artistic voice.
In this class students will explore different styles of dance and music! Through the structure of a dance class, students will learn basic dance terminology and gain coordination and balance through varied movements and games. They will also learn to respond to music and rhythm. Students will use props such as scarves, rhythm sticks and egg shakers as they dance to the beat and have tons of fun!
Raise your hand if you love reading! Storybook Stem incorporates key literacy skills with math, science, and engineering. Our weekly activities will center around some of the most well loved children's books.

In this exciting and interactive summer course, your child will dive into the basics of reading through fun games and hands-on activities. Using a multisensory approach, they will practice matching sounds to letters, decoding words, recognizing tricky words, and building fluency and vocabulary. These engaging activities will help strengthen reading skills and improve comprehension. This course is a fantastic review of last year’s lessons to reinforce foundational reading skills.
Let’s get those little fingers moving. We will work on keyboard knowledge and skills using programs designed to help increase speed and accuracy while on the computer. Beginner coding will be introduced in a way that is fun and easy to understand.
Students will learn movements based in yoga, stretching and dance that are synched with instrumental playlists inspired from around the world! Rhythm and Movement will help students to build strength and balance while being exposed to international melodies and energetic beats! Students will choose their favorite song and movements to showcase at the end of the course.
Get ready for a summer of fun, learning, and friendly competition in Game On! Exploring the World of Games! This exciting enrichment course invites fourth and fifth-grade students to sharpen their strategic thinking and problem solving skills as they dive into the world of games from all angles. Over the course of the summer, students will engage in cooperative and competitive play as they explore a variety of game types, from classic board games, puzzles, and card games to modern video games, interactive outdoor activities, and traditional party games. Get ready to roll the dice, shuffle the cards, and level up this summer with Game On!
