BOOK CHECK-OUT PROCEDURES
The Media Center is the student and faculty center for schoolwork, research, and collaboration. The facility provides print books, periodicals, E-books, and online databases. Students may use the Media Center with their classes throughout the school day, when permitted.
1. Students are responsible for all materials borrowed from the Media Center. If any item is lost or damaged, the student is responsible to pay the replacement cost for that item.
2. Book fines will be charged at a rate of $.10 per day for each day school is in session after the due date. Overdue and fine notices will be sent periodically.
3. Unpaid fines may result in a temporary loss of library privileges or the withholding of the student’s academic record.
1. Student I.D. cards will include a barcode sticker that will serve as the check-out card for the online catalog and must be presented in order to check out materials.
2. Books may be borrowed for three weeks, periodicals three days and reference/encyclopedias may not be removed from the Media Center.
