Occupational Therapy

To help students access their educational curriculum by promoting fine motor skills necessary for success in the classroom setting
To educate parents and staff on fine motor development
To provide in-services and workshops to the community
To train and provide strategies/resources to stakeholders to promote student growth and to attend to student needs
Adapt, modify student’s learning environment, equipment and learning materials
Provide formal and informal assessments/evaluations to help determine eligibility and need for related services
To assist the Child Study Team in the development of an IEP with educationally relevant goals and objectives that target weaknesses identified in assessments
To provide direct and indirect treatment services to address a student’s specific needs
When appropriate to integrate into the natural educational setting to promote student success in the classroom
