The Department of Special Services, overseen by Ray Renshaw, Director of Special Services and Jessica Gluck, Assistant Director of Special Services, consists of a team of School Psychologists, Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultants (LDT-C), Social Workers, Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and Physical Therapist. In addition, special services has the support of a mental health clinician from Care Plus. The main focus of the department is to collaborate to meet the diverse needs in various academic settings for students ages 3-21.
To support students, teachers and parents in our community to address the diverse needs of students through a variety of programs so that they can access the curriculum to improve academically, socially, and emotionally.
To appropriately address the academic, behavioral, and social needs of the students through the use of evidenced-based practices and curriculum focusing on closing learning gaps and preparing our students for the future.
