Recognizing the unique learning journey of each student, it is crucial to provide these tailored learning experiences at the most opportune moment to maximize their learning potential and instill a positive perspective on mathematics. The district's placement process plays a pivotal role in ensuring that students are positioned in the most suitable academic environments for success in mathematics.
The mathematics placement process incorporates multiple transparent and data-driven components. Various data points are considered to assess eligibility for the accelerated math program. Students meeting the required scores on the placement criteria are offered the opportunity to participate in the double advanced mathematics program—an exceptionally challenging initiative designed to immerse accelerated math students in a rigorous learning environment. This program aims to engage students at an advanced level and further enhance their mathematical capabilities.
