This year we will be using a new Social Studies program by McGraw-Hill called TIMELINKS. McGraw-Hill is also the company we use for our Language Arts program, so there are many similarities which is beneficial for students! We will be covering lots of fun and interesting topics in third grade! Students will be able to work both individually and in groups to complete engaging tasks. We will explore lots of ideas and work hard to really gain an appreciation for Social Studies. TIMELINKS also provides some great opportunities for students to read non-fiction texts and apply their comprehension skills. Some of the topics that we will cover this year include the following:
