This year we are excited to be working with the FOSS science program! This program is super hands-on and offers students an opportunity to learn by doing - every single week! Each week, students will perform experiments and work with various materials to help them learn a specific topic or concept. Following their experiment, students will do some reading about what they have learned. The goal of the reading is to further their learning even more. Students will create a word wall with words that they have learned by doing their experiment and by what they have read - the word wall is totally student created!
