Chromebook Printing - Mobility Print

The West Valley School District has worked on and deployed a chromebook printing solution known as "Mobility Print" by PaperCut. This printing solution was put into place as "Google Cloud Print" has been de-commissioned by Google as of December 31, 2020. Below are instructions on how to print from your chromebook via PaperCut "Mobility Print". To print a document or a web page the process to print is very similar to how you print today. Every user starts with a 100 Page count (B&W) credit.

Either hit "Ctrl+P" on the keyboard, or click the 3 dots in the to right of your chrome window and then click "Print"

Next to "destination" click the drop down menu

Click "See More"

In the list of printers, look for the green "Mobility Print" icon. you may not be able to print to every printer in this list as some of the printers only staff can print to. Please contact your teacher for the printers you have access to.

After selecting the printer you want to print to, select the "Print" button You will get a popup from the "Mobility Print". You will need to sign in with your google account. Click the "Sign in with Google" button.

If it asks you to "Choose an account", please select your district account. "@wvsdstudents" for students or "@wvsd208.org" for staff

Your document should now print to the selected printer. Do note: when you select a printer that you haven't ever printed to before, you will need to use the "Sign in with Google" option.
