Objectives:
Students will continue memorizing and reviewing Surah Fatiha
Students will connect with learning second pillar of Islam (Salah)
Students will learn about Prophet Yunus AS
Activity:
Students will sing along to 5 pillars of Islam
Students will engage in arts and craft related to Prophet Yunus AS
Students meet for Morning CIrcle in the Musalla at 10am. We will walk to class together.
Please send a healthy snack and water bottle for your student
Objectives:
Students will continue memorizing and reviewing Surah Fatiha
Students will connect with the second pillar of Islam, Salah. (as well as Wudu). Practice and implementation interwoven into lesson.
Students will learn about Prophet Nuh AS
Activity:
Students create their own boats after listening to Prophet Nuh AS story, they can make them with popsicle sticks and cut out cups or cardstock paper
Go to outdoor sinks and practice Wudu. Go to musalla and practice salah there together (2 rakah)
Objectives:
Students will continue memorizing and reviewing Surah Fatiha
Students will connect with the second pillar of Islam, Salah and Wudu. Practice and implementation interwoven into the lesson.
Activity:
Students sing a song about salah, Dawud Wharnsby, “the blue sky is blue like blue bubblegum but it prays to Allah”
Go to outdoor sinks and practice Wudu. Go to musalla and practice salah there together (2 rakah)
Practice salah movements with a stick figure printed on card stick or something
Objectives:
Students will continue memorizing and reviewing Surah Fatiha
Students will repeat and practice the Shahadah
Students will connect with the Quran and participate in a hands on bookmark activity
Activity:
Students can color and decorate pre-printed bookmarks related to the Quran
Students sing the song, “One one only one, only One Allah, these are the pillars of Islam, Only One Allah”
Objectives:
Students will continue memorizing and reviewing Surah Fatiha
Students will repeat and practice the Shahadah
Students will learn what a sunnah is
Activity:
Sunnah Charades: one group of kids will act out sunnah actions like smiling, drinking water sitting down, etc and others guess
Dikr sunglasses: wear the dikr sunglasses and mention something they love given by Allah
Students sing the song, “One one only one, only One Allah, these are the pillars of Islam, Only One Allah”

Letter to Allah: Students will be encouraged to write to Allah about things Allah gave them in their lives that they love
Dikr sunglasses: wear the dikr sunglasses and mention something they love given by Allah
