E-mail encryption will be available after 7/19/2021 through the use of a tool called Virtru. This tool will have an associated license fee at the responsibility of the individual agency. Phase 1 is a transition from Microsoft Outlook to Google Gmail and it will occur as a "flip-switch." Outlook being turned off as the same time Gmail is turned on.
However, Project Sunrise will provide employees with a transition period where the other Google products are available while the employee still has access to the Microsoft products.
The Microsoft products are scheduled to no longer be available late 2021/early 2022. Agencies are instructed to submit a Business Impact Assessment for business functions with complex dependencies upon the Microsoft product, such as Microsoft Access.

Yes, most employees (exception "frontline" workers) will be assigned an enterprise license which includes meeting call-in numbers and recording capabilities for Google Meet. More information can be found here.

However, for complex applications the agency is instructed to submit a Business Impact Assessment for business functions with complex dependencies upon the Microsoft product, such as Microsoft Access.

Files can be shared directly from GWS and they can either retain their Google format or you can send the file as a PDF.
