Grading

Major Assessments – 50% (Tests, Projects)

• Tests consist of multiple-choice and free-response questions. We play a review game the day before each test.

• There will be 1-2 projects in each marking period that will also be a part of your major assessment grade.

Minor Assessments – 50% (HW, CW, Class participation)

• There will be homework and classwork assignments to reinforce what is learned in class. When working in groups, I will be looking for full participation from all group members.

• Late work: -10 points (day 1), -5 points each consecutive day thereafter

• You will be given blank outlines for each set of modules that are due on the day of each test. These are used for notetaking and will be worth a minor assessment grade.

• Class is outright boring if I am the only one talking. I encourage mature class discussions.
