Class Description/Objectives
Welcome to my psychology class. Psychology is an interesting subject that covers topics that you can relate to your everyday lives. It raises and answers questions about human behavior and thought processes. In addition to working hard and doing well in this class, I hope you will use the information encountered to guide you in your personal lives.
You will be expected to read your textbooks and take notes in class. You are juniors/seniors, and I trust that you are responsible enough to understand the value of school attendance and keeping up with the required reading and note taking. I will be covering a lot of material each day, and there are days in which we will have class work and group work. Attendance is crucial.
Units Covered: History/Fields of Psychology, Biology, Sensation & Perception, Learning, Cognition, Development, Personality, Social, and Clinical

If you are absent during a test day, you are responsible to complete the test upon return. This will be during class time unless we discuss other arrangements at the time.
When absent, it is your responsibility to check Google Classroom for missed assignments and to see what was covered in class. Daily plans, assignments and presentations/notes are uploaded each day. I expect you to keep up with the class through Google Classroom. It should be checked daily. Absent students have 2 class days to make up missed work upon return.
