I graduated from Rowan University with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Literacy, and my journey in the field of education has been deeply fulfilling. Having spent a significant portion of my life teaching and working with young children, I can confidently say that this is my true calling. There's nothing more rewarding than nurturing young minds and witnessing their growth and development throughout the year. My passion lies in creating engaging, dynamic learning environments that inspire curiosity and a love for learning in every child. I thrive on the challenge of finding innovative ways to make difficult concepts accessible and understandable for young learners, and nothing compares to the joy of seeing a child light up with understanding and achievement. For me, teaching is not just a job, it's an experience that I am grateful each and every day for.
I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from West Chester University of PA. With years of experience working with children, I am excited to embark on this new journey. In the classroom, my goal is to create a nurturing and inclusive environment that supports each child’s growth and development. I will strive to accommodate diverse learning styles and paces, allowing children to explore and learn in ways that are meaningful to them. I value play as a primary learning mode and will guide your children as they explore concepts, solve problems, and develop social skills. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and embarking on new adventures! I am thrilled to be joining the team as a PreK4 teacher and look forward to watching your children learn and grow with me!
Hello. My name is Sandra Hopkins, and I have been working in the school system for over 25 years. I started out at Atlantic Cape Community College. My stepmother suggested that I take some early childhood education classes; since I was interested in working with children. I did. I changed my major from office procedures to early childhood. I transferred to Stockton University, and completed my undergrad degree in 2011. I became a certified teacher in 2016. I have taught kindergarten. Preschool, middle and high school. I am ready to begin teaching your children. I am looking forward to an amazing year!
