Outside of school I love going to the beach whenever I get the chance and I enjoy painting in my free time. I love that I am able to come to school everyday with a smile on my face and enjoy watching my students grow and learn every second of the day. believe as an educator, every child should be viewed as a whole including their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Children learn best through play and hands-on activities in the classroom. It is my job to foster creativity, problem- solving, and social skills through the use of play. My goal is to help each student grow as an individual to the best they can be. I strive to have every child love coming to school everyday.
My philosophy of early childhood education is centered on learning through play, differentiating across learners, maintaining a safe environment, collaborating with school personnel and communicating with parents.

I believe that early childhood educators have one of the most important jobs that exist because they are preparing children for the world of learning. I also feel that every child is unique and can learn in their own way and at their own pace. It truly is fun working with the little ones at Grenloch as they put a smile on my face daily.
As for my life outside of the classroom, I have a husband who teaches in the district at Whitman Elementary (Bill) and two boys that keep me very busy. (Billy 16 and Brody 13) In my spare time, I enjoy going to Disney, relaxing on the beach and spending time with my loved ones.
I believe that a child’s education should be unique to his or her individual needs. It is most important to meet a child where they are as individuals. I most enjoy thinking outside the box to find strategies to help all kinds of learners. I believe that play and imagination development should be the foundation of every early childhood education experience, as these skills are necessary to be successful in all areas of life, throughout one’s entire life into adulthood. I enjoy looking at various forms of behavior, reflecting upon that behavior, and figuring out what the child is communicating to me. Early childhood education sets the foundation for one’s entire future, and I couldn’t be prouder to be a part of it!
