For the past several decades we save student technology use as a means for creating, communicating, and collaborating. While all this still is a valuable use of technology, there is a dramatic shift, technology as a student PARTNER. Yep. Because we have tools like Notebook where the teacher can curate and ground the AI chat with the resources that make up the curriculum and those that will best support our students, students can use the Notebook tool to help guide them, help them explore, help them study, and help the grow. No AI tool will ever replace an educator who is a vital human connection to understanding and/or growth, but a teacher can't be all places at all times, and that's the power behind this. Students can ask questions, work with quizzes, access study guides and videos, all anchored into the materials the teacher is utilizing.
