Engineering Design & Development is the capstone course of a four-year program that applies the engineering process to solving real-world problems. Each student team has spent the last six months searching for a relevant problem, researching the validity of that problem, exploring solutions, developing prototypes or processes, testing their prototypes, and refining their designs. These students have spent many hours on their projects and now they are required to present their projects and the design process that was used to reach a conclusion. Thes epresentations are given in front of industry professionals and the entire community.
