Science: AP - HU College Option

AP Biology   Access AP Biology Summer Assignments through this link. Assignments are due no later than the first day of class and submitted to your AP Biology Schoology course, once you have been added for the 2022-2023 school year. Please review these assignments before you leave for summer vacation and stop by room 127 with any questions.

This challenging course includes studies in biochemistry, cell biology, energetics, molecular genetics, evolutionary mechanisms, plant and animal physiology, and ecology.  Thirteen AP Labs reinforce topics studied and allow students the opportunity to apply their knowledge to scientific questions. This course prepares students to take the Advanced Placement Exam for Biology and for higher level applied thinking used at the college level and that which we need in our future scientists and citizens.  Students have the option to enroll in Harrisburg University (HU) to earn college credits for this course.  Tuition payment is required for college credits.

AP Physics C: (Mechanics)   No summer work.

This course is designed for students planning to continue their education in the field of applied science or engineering using their exceptional mathematical background and logical thinking skills. This course prepares students to take the Advanced Placement-C Mechanics test in Physics. Students have the option to enroll in Harrisburg University (HU)  to earn college credits for this course.  Tuition payment is required for college credits.
