Inspiration and Conceptualization: I got the idea to do this because Skylar was sitting next to me. Originally, I was just drawing a regular eye. I had no plan in mind. I was looking at her as she was trying to help me come up with ideas, and I remembered that I'm pretty good at drawing eyes. I then realized it would be cute to do hers for my project.

Creation and Execution: First, I drew out the concept. Then, I drew it my final draft. I then transferred that drawing onto the block. I outlined the drawing in sharpie. I then started carving.  After I was done with that, I rolled ink onto the print and did a few tests. Lastly, I did my final one. 

Reflection and Growth: I think I grew in my replicating skills. I was able to look at her eye and draw it pretty well onto paper. I learned how to make a print. If I could go back and do the project again, I would do a better job with the inking and do more lines inside of the eye. I didn't notice it when doing the prints.
