November 2, 2020 Handwriting 5 & 6
We have two videos for you this week and they include the letters v, w, x, y and z!
October 26, 2020 Handwriting 3 & 4
We have 2 videos this week, the letters follow a similar writing rule called the magic c rule!
October 19, 2020 Handwriting 2
Today's letters are m, n, i and u. Watch the video twice. The first time, just watch it. The second time watch it and pause the video to practice each letter after Laura teaches it to you. Find the sheets in your fundations handwriting packet. The letters are not in order for this one, you will need to skip around on the pages! N and m are next to each other but i and u are on other pages in the booklet!
October 19-23 Extra Handwriting Practice
This is a video to help families with squeezing in some extra handwriting practice using the letters presented so far and the sight words we've shared so far. (t,f,b,m,n,u,i-the,a,and,is,his,of,to,in,he, you,it,was)
After watching the video you can try it with your child, make it fun and keep it positive! Neat handwriting makes many other tasks easier for your child so spending extra time practicing is time well spent.
Fundations Letter Board
Use this letter guide to help students form letters and remember the sounds for each letter.
October 13, 2020 Fundations Letters
At the front of your fundations packet you have this sheet of paper. Color the letters a, e, i, o and u on the top AND the bottom pink. Color the other letters yellow.
Next, cut out the letters from the bottom set on the dotted lines. Put those letters in an envelope or plastic bag and save them with the top part you colored for use with word study activities later!
If you'd like an extra activity, watch Laura's video about vowels and try her name activity with your own name on a piece of paper or in your journal.
October 13, 2020 Handwriting t, f, b
