Reading Goals
- Students will use a variety of strategies to comprehend text.
- Students will connect the text to themselves and to the world.
- Students will use evidence from the text to demonstrate understanding of what they are reading.
- Students will use vocabulary in context and will be able to use that vocabulary fluently.
- Students will participate in the 25 Book Challenge.
- Students will use annotation to improve their comprehension of the text.
