Classroom Rules:
- Students will show respect to their teachers, their peers and themselves.
- Students will follow directions the 1st time they are given.
- Students will be on time and prepared with all materials that they need.
- Students will keep their hands, feet, mouth and objects to themselves.

Behavior Management/Rewards and Incentives
Students will keep a Savings Account Record for my behavior management system. Students can earn or lose money, from their account, depending on the choices they make. This money will be used at the end of each quarter for a class auction.
I always give students a warning if their behavior is not what it should be. After the warning, if the behavior continues, I will have the student subtract money from their budget. Other reasons for losing money might include:
- Bullying or Harassment
- Fighting
- Disrespect to Staff and Classmates
I try to encourage students to make choices that will help our classroom be a place where all students feel safe and comfortable. Because of that, I use a variety of incentives to encourage appropriate behavior. Some of these include:
- Class Parties
- Extra Recess Time
- Treats
- Mystery Motivator
My number one goal with all of this is for students to feel like my classroom is a safe environment where they are comfortable to share ideas, participate and ask questions.
