About Mrs. Krietemeyer
Me: I was born and raised in O'Fallon, Missouri where I graduated from High School. Then I went to what was then called Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg and graduated in 2000 with my Bachelors in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I began my teaching that year as a reading intervention teacher, then taught 4th grade for 6 years before becoming a librarian. I also have my Masters in Instructional Technology from Mizzou.
Family: Joey and I have been married for 7 years. He also grew up in O'Fallon and we attended the same middle school and high school as me. We parted ways at graduation only to reconnect 12 years later. We now have 2 kids. Owen is 5 and will start kindergarten in August 2019 and Alex (Alexandria) is 3.
Pet: We just got Skye in February 2019 when she was 9 weeks old. She is a tiny black mutt who's equal parts Cocker Spaniel, Miniature Schnauzer, Pomeranian and Shiba Inu.
Books: I love Mo Willems Elephant and Piggie books, The Giver by Lois Lowry and anything by Patricia Polacco, Mary Downing Hahn, April Henry or Margaret Peterson Haddix.
Sports: I love watching my son play soccer as well as Blues Hockey.
Hobbies: Reading, Movies, creating things with my Cricut.
Color: Any shade of purple!
