Our kindergarten students can check out one book at a time beginning in September.  This is to prepare them for the responsibility of taking care of and returning a library book.  The students in grades 1-5 can check out two books at a time. Students may check out an additional book if it is needed for a class project/activity.  Students are encouraged, but not required, to check out one book at their reading comfort level and one book that is whatever they choose.

How to check your library account:

• Over the summer we switched to a different online cataloging system called Insignia. The catalog is where information about all materials in the library is stored, in addition to patron information.

• You can use Insignia to search for library materials or check your account. You can access Insignia through Classlink. It is found in the library folder.

• Use ClassLink to access library technologies from anywhere! Remember that your login is your Google login at school.

• As I learn more about this new system I will share it with staff and students.
