Returning Players & New Prospects

New Prospects: Jann Dacuycuy PG, 5’7 Grade 12 possess a good handle and shooting ability that has been a welcome addition to the team. Kevin DelaCruz SG, 5’3 Grade 11 brings tough defense and a good ability to knock down shots from the perimeter.

Returning Players: Jurwin Garcia SG, 5’9 Grade 11 give us a reliable scoring option for the team and with very good shooting ability from all areas of the court. Scott Anderson C, 6’2 Grade 12 provide us with unmatchable intensity and hustle every game, in addition to a “Big Guy” presence on the post.

Teams Play Style

Our basketball team operates constantly to the best of our capability various offensive systems. They can showcase a well coordinated strategic offense, regardless of the many defensives look the opposition can present. Our style is characterized by precise player movements, effective ball distribution, intelligent decision-making, and slow tempo offense. In conjunction with our offense, our team strives in playing coordinated team defense. We commit to defensive principles, including tight man-to-man coverage and effective zone rotations.

Goals for the Season and Last Years Achievements

Our goals as a team are:

• Promote an effective communication on and off the court and unity among team members.

• Improve individual players’ fundamental skills such as shooting, passing, dribbling and defensive techniques.

• Develop and implement a versatile and effective offensive strategy that maximizes the strengths of each player.

• Prioritize solid defensive fundamentals, including man-to-man and zone defenses.

• Promote conditioning to enhance players’ endurance and agility.Improve players’ understanding of game situations, clock management, and decision-making during critical moments.
