Returning Players & New Prospects

With only two returning players (Grade 12s Kham T and Cameron S), this year’s team is building for the future. Kham and Cameron are both perimeter players, boasting a good percentage from 3. Coming up from last year’s JV squad are point players Matthew C and Deidrei J along with the down-low presence of Noah H and Grade 10 Dale T. Grade 12 hybrid guard/forward Warren B uses his physicality to create space all over the floor.

Teams Play Style

This Hornet squad plays a very smart game of basketball. Coach Martin has these boys playing an organized, active offense with lots of shots from the perimeter. On defense, size is just a number as the mentality is “Play Big”. With the lack of height, Tec makes up for it with a lot of hustle and physicality. As long as they can keep the other team out of the key, these Hornets have a real shot at victory.

Goals for the Season and Last Years Achievements

This team has their sights on the top half of the Tier 2 standings. With a couple tournaments on schedule as well the goal is to play an attractive style of ball and give every team they play a tough time. The Hornets look to challenge for the Tier 2 title.
