Returning Players & New Prospects
This year the Kelvin Varsity team is led by two grade 12 players. Thando Saka and Josh Clendenan.Thando is an explosive guard that can play inside and out. A force with the ball and possesses a wide variety of crazy finishes at the rim. He is a combination of power and finesse that will be a challenge to any opposing team. Josh Clendanan is now at the helm of our guard spot. Having to watch and wait last year. Josh is more than ready to lead this year's Kelvin team. Josh is a throwback to the old school point guards. An unselfish point that has learned to take the pressure and dictate the pace of the game. Leave Josh open and he will hit those 3's. A captain that leads by example. With an up and coming grade 11’s Frank Badibe, a guard that has immense natural talent. speed, size, power, and an explosive leaping ability, sky's the limit for this grade 11 standout.
Kelvin is going to look to exploit the matchups this year. This year’s team appears to be loaded with talent. Depending on the match up Kelvin will push the pace when needed but also slow down if need be.
