Developed By Massachusetts Eye and Ear this app has great stabilization, as well as the ability to hide the buttons to enable you to use the full screen, flash light support, auto focusing and snapshots can be saved and retrieved. Useful for most all ages and grade levels.
Site says it's free, but NE LowVision says it costs $0.99, so not sure. Compatible with (iPads) iOS 8.0 or newer.
Apple iPad Magnifier app (Low vision)
Allows user to turn an iPhone or iPad into a magnifying glass and zoom in on objects or text nearby.
Free, but only works with iOS v14.4 or later.
Seeing AI app (Low vision)
App allows user to hold smartphone camera over an object to have it instantly read any text, or point it at a person or object to identify it based on shape, color, face recognition.
Free, but only works with iOS v12.0 or later.
Bookshare (Visual impairment, Reading disability)
Online library of accessible ebooks for people with print disabilities, such as visual impairment, severe dyslexia, and cerebral palsy.
