Sonocent/Glean (Dyslexia)

• Software allows users to capture recordings of classes/meetings and visualizing audio as chunks making it easier to return to a specific part of a recording later. User can select/modify specific sections of audio and add photos, slides, and additional notes to the original recording after which they can be exported and shared.

• Annual (paid) subscription required.

Ghotit (Dyslexia)

• Ghotit Real-Writer/Reader is a text editor and contextual spell checker for users with dyslexia, dysgraphia, and English Learners (ELs).

• Price varies depending on platform (Windows, Mac, Chromebook, iPad), for individuals, or site license for 200+ devices.

Bookshare (Visual impairment, Reading disability)

• Online library of accessible ebooks for people with print disabilities, such as visual impairment, severe dyslexia, and cerebral palsy.

• Non-human (auto-generated) voices.

Learning Ally (Visual impairment, Reading disability)

• Accessible ebooks for people with print disabilities, such as visual impairment, severe dyslexia, and cerebral palsy.

• Human voices for audiobooks.

• Books can be accessed by logging into Learning Ally and using the app, or by using an eBook-compatible device or software.

• Requires a school license/subscription.

Learn Out Loud - (Reading disability)

• The majority of files are free to access online or through download.

• From site: "The LearnOutLoud.com Kids Audio & Video Directory offers a selection of over 2,000 educational audio and video titles for kids and teens. Here you’ll find audio books, podcasts, and free videos for kids to learn from."

• No search option for grade/age, can only search by title, author, language, format, and filetype.

Read&Write Chrome extension (Reading/learning disabilities)

• Chrome Extension for listening to webpage content and converted audio files (like Bookshare). Limited options for users.

• Non-human (auto-generated) voices.

• The free version allows some basic setting changes (i.e. voice, reading speed). The paid versions offers additional features.
