Claim-How is the saltiness of ocean water (salinity) affected by the location on Earth (Latitude)?
Evidence:
1. Model with salt water in cups=water likes to "hang out" with water of the same density
2. Graph salinity levels in Atlantic/Pacific oceans based on latitudes-identify trends (what do you notice on your graph, is this the same in both hemispheres?)
Reasoning: Top 5 Notes from Articles on Slideshow
Wrap-up/Conclusion=#9 (Highest/lowest and why?) and #10
NO HOMEWORK!

We then discussed how our salinity lab demonstrated how water likes to "hang out" with similar salinity level water. Finally, we began to graph, how ocean saltiness might be related to location on Earth (Salinity vs. Latitude) 1/2 group completed N hemisphere, 1/2 completed S hemisphere.
