Intro to rats.

Rats are a medium sized long tailed rodent in a family called Muridae which has over 1 million species in it.

Rats cover nearly the whole world except Antarctic, The Arctic and Alberta.

Rats originated in Southeast Asia But were spread all the way around the world by people on boats.
