THE MATHEMATICAL MODELLING PROCESS
This graphic is an adaptation of the graphic used in the elementary curriculum to describe the mathematical modelling process.
In essence, we are encouraging students to engage in posing questions, making plans, collecting information, modelling information and then using those models to answer questions and analyze situations.
The curriculum encourages us to integrate this process with other strands throughout the course.
