04/26/24 @ Barnstable HS: The Honorable Magistra Decamp celebrated her birthday at State convention. With Editor Anshu engaging on a quest to Whole Foods for a gluten free cake, the student endeavored to surprise the wonderful teacher. With President Rebecca leading the parade, the cake entered the cafeteria with the pomp and circumstance Magistra DeCamp is worthy of! T'was a success as Magistra DeCamp was delighted to be sung to over a delicious cake of gluten free Vanilla Confetti.
Felix natalis, Magistra!

4/26/24@ Barnstable HS: A weekend of revelry, celebration and competition saw Winchester's JCL chapter secure first place along their competitor, Boston Latin School. Through even the riveting chariot comedy(SEE A CHARIOT CHASE in The Eagle's Tribune), Winchester displayed Olympian spirit, vigor and pride for their school.

6/18/2024@ Winchester Highschool:
Tuesday’s open certamen game was a big success! Seven players came to showcase their pop culture and Latin knowledge in questions about movies, architecture and more. It was a close race, with the two teams ending just five points apart. We hope to continue running open certamen throughout the 2024-2025 school year in order to inspire students to join certamen and study the classics!

April 26th to July: As WinJCLers await for National Convention, plans and alliances are formed in the dark of the night. While eagerly nibbling on their snacks in Magistra DeCamp's room awaiting for the week to arrive, each member is preparing material to allow for a Winchester WIN! From chaotic group texts, hectic google drives and numerous typos, the WinJCLers continue to lock in on their quest for Nationals glory. We wish we could say more, but unfortunately we would like to keep some of our secrets a surprise.
See you in this summer....
