Junior and senior students are invited to apply to the WMHS Chapter of National Art Honor Society. To be eligible for membership, students must be enrolled in a full-year art course.
NAHS is an academic honor society. The purpose of the chapter is to be able to inspire and recognize students who have shown an outstanding commitment to the arts. Our goals are to foster a dedicated spirit to the pursuit of art, inspire creative abilities in others, and celebrate the talents of the chapter’s members as well as the entire student art enrollment. Students must attend monthly chapter meetings, participate in collaborative art pieces, and complete 10 hours of visual art-based community service throughout the course of the year.
For further information please email Morgan Giannotti, NAHS Chapter Sponsor.
The WMHS Art Club provides a place for all students, regardless of talent, to express their individuality & creativity. We work on a variety of projects determined by the membership. All Wakefield High students are invited to be members of Art Club, whether or not they are enrolled in a visual art course.
Art Club meets every Thursday from 2:15 - 3:30 PM in Room 1241. For further information, please email Meg McKenna, Art Club Advisor.
