The Wakefield Visual Arts Department strives to provide modern instruction with a variety of materials, tools, equipment, programs, and software. Your support allows us to continuously improve our curriculum, experiment with new materials, and collaboratively create the best learning experience for our students. We love partnering with the Wakefield community and celebrating our students and their art!
The Wakefield Visual Arts Department takes pride in displaying our student work for both the school as well as the greater Wakefield community. We often partner with the Albion Cultural Exchange and the Arts Collaborative of Wakefield for gallery shows and events.
We proudly host several annual community and school events. The Thursday before Halloween is our annual carved pumpkin display at the Beebe Library.
Our students head downtown for our annual window painting event, typically during the week after Thanksgiving. We love bringing cheer to the town by collaborating with local businesses!
THANK YOU to the 37 Wakefield businesses (click for map) who supported us during our 2024 Holiday Window Painting event! If you would like to participate in 2025, please email Morgan Giannotti.
Please check our social media accounts for current event information and to see work that is displayed within Wakefield Memorial High School!
