Frequently Asked Questions
About our Community Workshop for Women
What is this event?
This is a community gathering for women who care about making a difference, interested in building community, and curious about the concept of peacebuilding. Over the course of one evening, you'll explore what peacebuilding looks like in your life, connect with other women in your community, and leave with practical tools to make your life easier, hopeful, and meaningful.
How much does it cost?
Early bird tickets are $25 per person, regular price $30. This includes the full workshop experience, light refreshments, and a take-home gift.
Who is this event for?
This event is open to anyone who identifies as a woman. You do not need any background in peacebuilding, activism, or community organizing to attend. If you care about your community and want to do something meaningful — this is for you.
Is there anyone this event is not a good fit for?
This workshop is designed for women who are open to reflection, honest conversation, and engaging with perspectives different from their own. It may not be the right fit if you're looking for a political rally, a religious gathering, or a networking event focused on professional advancement. We also gently ask that attendees come with a willingness to listen as much as they speak — this is a space for dialogue, not debate.
Do I need to know anything about peacebuilding before I come?
Not at all. This event was specifically designed for women who are curious about peacebuilding but don't know where to start. We'll introduce the framework, the research, and the practice together in an accessible, welcoming way.
Is this a religious or political event?
No. Our mission is rooted in research and designed to be inclusive of all backgrounds, beliefs, and political perspectives. Faith and personal values are respected and welcomed here, but no particular religion or political affiliation is promoted or assumed. You belong here regardless of where you stand.
What will we actually do at the event?
The evening will include guided discussion, a short interactive activity, and time to connect with other women in the room. The atmosphere is warm and intentional — think dinner party meets workshop. Expect good conversation, global snacks, and a reason to leave feeling hopeful.
Will there be food?
Yes! We'll have light refreshments.
How much of your proceeds are donated to non-profits?
We promise that at least 25% of proceeds are donated to a nonprofit each session. Additional proceeds are determined based on enrollment in the session.
