Our Founders

Melody Fox Ahmed

Melody Fox Ahmed is a global program director and international education leader with a robust career in education spanning over 20 years. She is a founding partner of World Tree Global, an educational consulting group. She has held key global education positions at esteemed institutions, including Georgetown University and the National Cathedral School in Washington, DC. As an accomplished international education leader, Melody specializes in global program development and leadership, teaching and training, partnership cultivation, outreach, and stakeholder engagement within cross-cultural education initiatives. She is passionate about empowering educators and students to become peacebuilders, interfaith leaders, and global citizens through meaningful programs, strategic partnerships, and experiential learning.

Jessica Campbell

Jessica Campbell is an innovative educational and professional development leader with extensive experience in public, international, and independent schools. She has driven change in academics, global education, and professional development programs through her roles in independent school administration. Jessica is a lifelong educator who has expertise in international student wellbeing and programming, global program development, dialogue training and conflict transformation, community and belonging, and student-centered curriculum innovation. Jessica finds joy in collaborating and creating with others to foster positive, values-based change for global leaders and educators.

The Roots of World Tree Global

Founded in 2025, World Tree Global is born from years of friendship, collaboration, and a shared passion for global education. Jessica and Melody first met at an annual conference of the Global Education Benchmark Group (now the Institute for Global Learning). They hit it off over their similar roles at all-girls, faith-based schools, bonding over international teaching adventures, parenting young kids with demanding jobs, and—fun fact—they even share the same middle name!

This friendship blossomed during a particularly tumultuous time in the world and in education. But amidst the chaos, we saw the incredible strength of our school communities—built on hope, resilience, and shared values. We drew on our different faith and ethical commitments for courage and calm. We wondered how we could leverage our experience, global connections, and skills to inspire hope and foster understanding in others. That’s when the idea of World Tree Global took root.

Our mission is simple: to build hope through meaningful intercultural and interfaith connections. Hope isn’t just a feel-good word; it’s a radical act—an active choice to stay true to your values, even in tough times. We’ve seen firsthand how education rooted in hope and optimism can transform lives—for students and educators alike.

At World Tree Global, we’re committed to providing real tools and opportunities to practice hope: through training, dialogue, peacebuilding strategies, and building inclusive communities that welcome newcomers. Join us in online conversations, courses, workshops, or immersive travel programs. Our Logo

The World Tree, also known as the Tree of Life, is a powerful, ancient symbol found in many cultures around the world. In many traditions, the tree is associated with sacred knowledge, spiritual insight, and enlightenment. The branches and roots provide shelter, safety, and nurturing.

From a scientific lens, trees are connected via mycorrhizal networks that allow them to communicate, share resources and even send distress signals. The World Tree scientific concept underscores the importance of these networks to the overall health, wellbeing, and resilience of trees and forests.

We are inspired by this symbol of the interconnectedness of all existence, spiritual growth, and the necessity of mutual care to survive and flourish.
